Computer Science and Engineering

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established in the year 2005 with the introduction of the B.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering. Over the past two decades, the department has expanded significantly and now offers four B.Tech programs in Computer Science & Engineering and its emerging specializations.

Later M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering was introduced. The department is a recognized Research Centre under Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and has been offering Ph.D. programs in Computer Science.

Emerging Area Programs

With the approval of AICTE, New Delhi, the department introduced the following B.Tech programs in emerging areas of Computer Science and Engineering in 2020:

  • B.Tech – CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)
  • B.Tech – CSE (Data Science)

The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering provides students with a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of computing. The curriculum covers traditional areas such as Software Engineering along with rapidly evolving domains including:
