Dr B V Krishnaveni is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at CMR Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. She holds a Ph.D. from JNTUA, Anantapur, M.Tech. from Pondicherry University, and B.Tech. from JNTU, Hyderabad. She has 16 years of teaching experience and 2 years of software industry experience. She has authored several textbooks, published research articles in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, presented papers at IEEE conferences, and filed patents. She has guided several academic projects for B.Tech. and M.Tech. programs and serves as a reviewer for various international journals and conferences.

Dr. Krishnaveni qualified GATE with 95 percentile and UGC-NET. She has successfully completed numerous online courses through NPTEL, Coursera, and Udemy in emerging technologies. She completed 29 NPTEL courses, earning 11 NPTEL Stars and three domain certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Faculty Domain Advanced. She received the Global Eminent Academician Award in 2023. She is certified in the Data Acquisition System for Process Parameters project from SHAR-ISRO. She is a member of ISTE and IAENG. Her research interests include indoor localization, UWB technology, wireless communications, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
